Who we are
Suggested text: You can find our website at this address: https://www.greystonespatios.ie.
Comments
Suggested text: Whenever visitors post comments on the site, we gather the data entered in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, which helps us to spot spam.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also known as a hash) may be passed to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy can be read here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be visible to the public alongside your comment.
Media
Suggested text: If you upload images to the website, please avoid including images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Anyone visiting the website can download images and extract any location data they contain.
Cookies
Suggested text: When you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is purely for your convenience, so you will not need to retype your details whenever you comment again. These cookies last for one year.
Should you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie holds no personal data and is discarded as soon as you close your browser.
Once you log in, we will also set up several cookies to remember your login details and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, while screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will stay active for two weeks. Logging out of your account will remove the login cookies.
If you edit or publish an article, one more cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and simply records the post ID of the article you have just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Suggested text: Articles on this site may feature embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as though the visitor had gone directly to that other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed further third party tracking, and monitor how you interact with that embedded content. This includes tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
Suggested text: If you ask for a password reset, your IP address will appear in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
Suggested text: If you leave a comment, both the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This allows us to recognise and approve any follow up comments automatically, rather than leaving them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they supply in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (although they cannot change their username). Website administrators can view and edit that information too.
What rights you have over your data
Suggested text: If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including anything you have given us. You can also ask us to erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not cover any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Suggested text: Visitor comments may be run through an automated spam detection service.
