What Type Of Patios We Repair In Greystones
Subsidence can cause slabs to sink or sit unevenly, creating trip hazards and spoiling the look of your outdoor space. We lift the affected areas, rebuild the base layers properly, and relay the slabs to the correct levels and falls for a beautifully finished result.
Cracked or broken slabs are more common than you might think. A heavy object gets dropped, frost takes its toll, or settlement puts stress on particular pieces. We can replace individual slabs, although matching existing stone perfectly isn’t always possible, especially with natural materials that vary from batch to batch.
Failed pointing lets water seep in and weeds take hold. We rake out the deteriorated mortar and repoint with real care, sealing the joints against the elements whilst keeping enough flexibility to prevent future cracking.
Sometimes a patio has been installed poorly from the very start. Wrong falls, inadequate bases or unsuitable materials for the location mean repairs can only ever be temporary fixes. We will always be honest with you about whether a simple repair or a full lift and relay of the patio area makes better long term sense.
We also take on smaller jobs, such as relevelling sunken areas near buildings, improving drainage, or replacing damaged edging that has let the patio spread over time. Getting these issues sorted early stops bigger problems from developing later.
Alongside our patio repairs, we offer other options including new patio installations in Greystones, limestone patio installations and more.
